1. What data we collect

Veenyl only collects the data necessary to provide the service.

Account information

• Email address
• Authentication data (email/password, Google login, or Apple login)

User content

• Vinyl collection data
• Wishlist data
• Profile picture (optional)
• Feedback responses submitted through in-app forms or surveys

Analytics data

• Basic in-app analytics events, such as screen views and key app actions

Veenyl does not collect

• IP addresses for its own independent storage or profiling purposes

2. How your data is used

Your data is used only to create and manage your account, store and display your collection and wishlist, provide core app functionality, understand how key app flows are used so Veenyl can be improved, and review voluntary feedback submitted through in-app forms or surveys.

Veenyl does not use your data for advertising or cross-service profiling.

3. Authentication

Veenyl supports email and password login, Google OAuth login, and Apple login. When using Google or Apple login, authentication is handled by those providers. Veenyl only receives the necessary account information, such as your email and, when available, your name.

4. Third-party services

Veenyl relies on the following third-party services:

• Supabase for database and backend infrastructure
• Google OAuth for authentication
• Apple Sign In for authentication
• Discogs API to retrieve vinyl record information
• Wikipedia / Wikimedia APIs for additional content
• LRCLIB for supplementary data
• Amplitude for basic product analytics and in-app guides or surveys

These services may process data as required to provide their functionality.

5. Data storage

Your data is stored using Supabase infrastructure.

While Veenyl is based in Portugal, data may be stored or processed in locations used by Supabase.

6. Cookies and tracking

Veenyl does not use tracking cookies or advertising trackers.

Veenyl does use basic in-app analytics to measure screen views and important product interactions inside the app. Only essential technical mechanisms required for authentication and analytics operation may be used.

7. Data retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account exists.

When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted.

No additional retention is applied.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

As a user in the European Union, you have the right to access your data, correct your data, and delete your data.

In Veenyl, data deletion is handled through account deletion.

9. Data security

Veenyl takes reasonable measures to protect your data.

However, no system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

Continued use of Veenyl means you accept any updates.
